Pool Checkers
A checkers-family game popular in the southern United States, particularly within the African American community. Players move their men forward and capture opposing pieces, including backward captures. Promoted pieces become “flying kings,” which can move and capture across multiple spaces. Unlike Brazilian Checkers, players are not required to choose the capture sequence with the maximum number of captures.
