Davy Jones' Locker: The Kraken Wakes

Players cooperate as rival captains who band together to prepare their ships and confront a monstrous threat from the deep. The game runs in two Acts: an opening campaign phase of sailing between ports to upgrade ships, buy equipment, gain crew and resolve ominous encounters, followed by a tactical combat phase after the creature awakens. Players spend actions to explore, trade, fight raiders and salvage shipwrecks to improve stats and resources, then coordinate movement and attacks as whirlpools, tentacles, and sinking ships reshape the board. Stranded crews can be rescued and returned to service, keeping the team in the fight until the threat is defeated.
