Players take the roles of Gotham heroes who investigate a conspiracy and battle corrupted villains tied to a shadowy mastermind. The box includes four playable heroes, one dual-mode hero who can appear under mind control, a single villain, and a villain duo that introduces encounters with two antagonists at once. Gameplay mixes cooperative scenario-driven missions with combat and tactical positioning as players coordinate hero abilities, manage threats, and uncover the plot behind the disturbances in the city.
