Ludi Gladiatorii

Players take the role of a lanista managing a ludus in ancient Rome, training, buying and selling gladiators and expanding the school’s infrastructure. Auctions and recruitment let players assemble rosters of fighters with different strengths and roles, while development options improve training and facilities. Combats are resolved using a drawn damage-card system; players assign gladiators to matches and resolve actions to win bouts and gain Fame and Glory points. The primary goal is to reach seven Fame and Glory by growing the ludus or winning fights, balancing investment in fighters, arena matchups and facility upgrades.
