Spillerne tørner sammen i en asymmetrisk duel for to spillere, der udspiller sig i en finurlig turnering værtet af Cheshire-katten. Hver side stiller med en mester og et sæt unikke “Plus-One”-allierede, som giver forskellige evner og strategiske muligheder. På en tur vælger en spiller en tallerken med perler, samler dem op og lægger én perle på hver efterfølgende tallerken; tallerkenen, hvor den sidste perle lander, afgør hvilken handling spilleren tager. Spillerne bruger disse perlefordelingsflyt, mesterhandlinger og Plus-One-kræfter til at skade modstanderen og reducere deres helbred til nul.

Excelente juego en su propuesta, una lucha tu a tu utilizando el Mancala para obtener la mejor acción y derrotar a tu enemigo. Además la asimetria de los poderes de los personajes le da un toque con mucha rejugabilidad.

In this 1 v 1 battle you take on the role of a wacky ♥️ Wonderland character. You and your guests each bring their own abilities to the ? tea party, and each ? plate that you land on provides you opportunities to hinder your opponent or heal yourself. The goal is to knock your opponents health down to zero, ending the game. Mancala was one of my favorite and most played games as a child, so I have always had a soft spot for it and couldn’t wait to get my hands on this asymmetric beauty by @druidcitygames. I can’t say I’m the biggest ♣️ Alice in Wonderland fan, but I do appreciate the art here and know of the cult that follows Wonderland War, so I had high expectations. Thankfully, they did not disappoint. Yes, it’s got that key element of mancala but this is so much thinkier! With 6 different player options (8 if you have the Tweedles and ? Caterpillar expansion like we do), the combinations are endless. Component quality is fantastic, with a great insert that easily fits the playmat. This is everything I want in a mancala style game.
