Men-Nefer
Players recreate life in an early Egyptian capital, taking roles that shape the city’s culture and monuments. On each turn they use a hybrid action-selection mechanic combining worker placement and tile drafting to pursue activities like studying in houses of life, trading and traveling on the Nile, making offerings to the gods, embalming nobles, erecting sphinxes, and contributing to pyramid construction. Play runs over three eras; players score prestige points each era and the highest total prestige determines the winner. Strategic timing and resource management influence access to actions and long-term standing with the afterlife.

Do I have to pay Food to Visit or Specialize, and what if I can't afford it?
Yes — when you Visit or Specialise you pay 1/3/5 Food depending on how many Apprentices are already there; if you don’t have enough Food, place/move the Apprentice anyway, receive 3 Food, but skip resolving the Tablet or advancing/performing the Scarab action. (p. 9)
When I take an Action Tablet, do I resolve its effects immediately or can I save it for later?
Resolve it immediately: when you Obtain a Tablet you pay/receive the Food cost, place the Tablet on your board, apply any hieroglyph bonus, perform the Tablet/Main Board action you chose, then move the Tablet to the discard. (p. 10)
If I move on the Great Pyramid track and place a piece, which Khufu Favours do I get?
Placing a piece gives you two Favours: the one printed on the piece you place and the one on the piece you cover; if you place the Pyramidion (covering four pieces) you still only take two Favours of your choice from the covered pieces. (p. 11)
Can I build on a Queens' Pyramid construction space if I don't have a Permission token available?
No — to move your Limestone Block into a Queens' Pyramid Construction space you must have at least one Permission in your Available Permissions area; without a Permission you cannot move into those Construction spaces. (p. 12)
If an Advance Boats action gives me two activations (!!), can I activate the same Boat twice?
No — with double activations you must activate two different Boats (never the same one twice); you may perform activations either before or after moving all your Boats, but not in between movements. (p. 16)
Do Offerings from Crafts require a Basket and what happens to the Craft afterward?
Yes — after resolving a Craft you set its Basket aside, flip the Craft so it can’t be used again, then place that Basket in an empty Offering space where you have a standing Priestess to perform the Offering actions and lay the Priestess down. (p. 15)
