Players lead an expedition across a newly uncovered city of sacred birds, racing over five days to excavate buried artifacts and build the strongest collection. Each turn begins by rolling meeple-shaped dice to determine the available team, then assigning those groups to locations around the site to recover specific objects. Arrival order and interaction with opponents affect control of spots, and opponents can displace earlier arrivals. Collected artifacts can be delivered at strategic times to gain improvements and victory points.
