Shifting Sands: The Campaign for North Africa 1940-1943

Players use separate Allied and Axis card decks to generate operations, events, and logistical effects while moving faction units along a map of key locations including the Abyssinian theater and the Mediterranean flank. Gameplay emphasizes maneuver, supply, and timed events from other theaters that can disrupt plans; a campaign of scenarios and objectives guides strategic goals while commanders balance offensive drives against attrition and logistics. Components include a large map, unit counters, and two player decks that drive actions and historic events.
