Star Wars: Rebellion
One player commands the Galactic Empire and the others control the Rebel Alliance in a two- to four-player asymmetric war for control of the galaxy. Players move fleets and ground forces between thirty-two star systems, deploy dozens of plastic miniatures, and resolve large-scale space battles while sending heroes on covert missions. The Empire builds military strength and searches the map to locate and destroy the Rebel hidden base, while the Rebels recruit sympathy, run sabotage and intelligence operations, and attempt to inspire systems to revolt. Distinct leaders with unique abilities undertake secret missions that shift momentum and create cinematic, narrative moments during the campaign.

Vic Granell9,0 Absolutely MUST game for a Star Wars fan. Loved every aspect of it except for the amount of combat cards used in combat (and the ridiculous size of the box and air inside it). Both are mitigated by adding the essential Rise of the empire expansion.
Mestremuten9,0 Rating: 4/5 Production value: 4/4 Is the game in my collection/Love to have?: 1/1
beqs the 1st9,0 Dont get baited, its a 2 player game not a 2-4 player game... This game is a blast, awesome 1o1 asymmetric experience. 3h+ per session. If you are into Star Wars there is no boardgame that catches the athmosphere better than this one. Would always recommend going for the expansion since it improves the combat.
Regelspørgsmål
Besvaret ud fra regelbogen af Ludoyas regelassistent.
How exactly does the Rebel base hiding and revealing work — can the Imperial just search every system and capture it easily?
The Rebel base is represented by a hidden base token and is only revealed when the Rebels choose to move it or when the Imperials succeed at a mission that discovers it; the Imperials must use probe/match missions to locate or be lucky with opposing missions rather than simply searching every system (see page 12).
How do I assign leaders to a mission, and what happens if the enemy opposes that mission?
Leaders are assigned to missions during the Assignment Phase; when the mission is revealed the opposing player may assign leaders to oppose, then resolve the mission by rolling the appropriate dice and applying skills and effects to determine success or failure (see pages 6 and 8).
Can leaders move between systems on their own, or do they need ships/transports to relocate?
Leaders move during the Command Phase when you activate systems: they can move along adjacent systems, and moving through non-adjacent systems or between systems occupied only by ships requires transports or valid movement via activated systems per the transport/adjacency limits (see page 7).
After a mission or combat, when do leaders return to the leader pool or to my faction's base?
Leaders that are not eliminated return to the leader pool (or to the Rebel base if applicable) during the Refresh Phase when leaders are returned and reused for later rounds (see page 10).
How does the build/recruit queue and the time track work — when do my built units actually appear on the board?
During the Refresh Phase you advance the time track and your build/recruit queue advances accordingly; when a build completes it deploys per the build rules (units enter play when their build finishes as the queue advances in Refresh) (see page 10).
What are the win conditions for each side — how does the Rebel win by time/reputation and how does the Imperial win?
The Imperial wins by locating and occupying the Rebel base (or via specific Death Star rules); the Rebels win by surviving until the end of the time track and achieving a higher reputation/meeting Rebel victory conditions described in the rules (see pages 2 and 11).
