A system-agnostic investigative scenario about a serial killer, centered on a team examining a burned-out Manhattan apartment and uncovering the story behind the case. It includes crime-scene descriptions, laboratory and autopsy results, a perpetrator profile, key non-player characters, relevant locations, and guidance for the Game Master. The scenario supports federal agents, private investigators, or investigative journalists, and can be played as a realistic thriller, urban fantasy investigation, or horror story using an optional supernatural module. The self-contained case can run over one or several sessions and contains no specific game mechanics.
