Players take the roles of ordinary people suddenly aware of a hidden, monstrous underworld and driven to confront it. Characters are built around personal backstories, moral choices and the consequences of fighting supernatural threats. Gameplay emphasizes collaborative storytelling: players and a referee explore investigations, encounters with creatures, and the social fallout of vigilantism. Mechanics support investigative scenes, combat, and the escalation of danger as hunters balance resources, trauma, and group dynamics while pursuing targets and uncovering deeper conspiracies.
