Niwashi

Two gardeners work together to evolve a layered Japanese garden across the seasons. Players place translucent garden tiles in three plot colours to build overlapping patterns and attempt to reveal specific seasonal shapes without fully sharing their hands. Communication is limited: players may place a movable lantern token to give a single visual hint, but otherwise must infer each other’s intentions from tile placements. The game ends when a player has no pieces at the start of a round, and a campaign mode offers sequential challenges with restricted areas and blocked plots for added constraints.
