Prime Time
Players run competing television networks, acquiring shows and hiring writers, producers, and actors to build lineups that attract viewers and generate ad revenue. Play proceeds over six rounds in two seasons; each round features a development phase of actions, a broadcasting phase for setting schedules and targeting demographics, and an income phase. Award-show scoring occurs in rounds three and six. Players bid for shows, adjust talent, and arrange time slots to maximize ratings and revenue, then convert cash to victory points at the end of the final round.

Evan10,0 In this game, players bid for show and people cards to add to their tv schedule board. You score points and money based on how many cubes you can take from the box corresponding to the day of the week that matches cube pictures on cards you assigned. Cubes are limited, and are given out based on who has the most star points, in turn order. Star points are acquired through taking cards that have tiny icons of stars on them, or by combining a show card that lasts more than 1 turn with one or more person cards that have a matching symbol. This means that in order to tell how many cubes you will be able to get, you need to carefully examine the tiny icons other players have assigned to their various day slots, and then math out who is likely to take which color of cubes first so as to best screw other players out of being able to take cubes. There is an action spot for taking starting player, but it costs you money, and then each player who takes the starting player after you will go before you, so it's essentially worthless. The game features many useless mechanisms. For example, shows that only run for one round can't have people cards assigned to them, Therefor they will only have the stars printed on the card itself, if any, meaning that all the cubes will be gone before they get to select one. There are tokens given to players who manage to run one of each symbol at the same time, which don't do much and are nearly impossible to get out because any show that doesn't get a cube each round gets discarded. There are also rewards for players who took a lot of cubes of certain colors, so the rich get richer. There are also a number of action slots on the board, all but one of which are nearly useless. The game also doesn't come with nearly enough money tokens, so be prepared to bring in some outside tokens. :nostar: Art, Iconography and components functional :nostar: Clever or interesting mechanisms :nostar: Reasonably low downtime between turns with mildly AP players :nostar: Multiple plays stay interesting :nostar: Low or mitigatable luck elements :nostar::nostar::nostar::nostar::nostar: Raw enjoyment
