Each turn, red and blue sticks are available. The highest card played takes the blue sticks, while the lowest card takes the red sticks. Red sticks cancel blue sticks, and the goal is to finish with a score as close to zero as possible. The basic game has players reveal cards simultaneously; the strategic version uses sequential card play in a trick-taking format.
