Slaughterball: Team Katanas

In a future where Japan rebuilt rapidly after the Third World War, genetic engineering replaces advanced robotics as the focus of industrial development. Honshu Tek creates a team of samurai-themed athletes from a genetic template, who compete in the brutal arena sport of Slaughterball. The team relies on repeated attacks to weaken opponents from the first round. Butchers and slashers use their mobility and power to control the center, while the butchers’ automatic carve ability blocks sections of the pit. Once opposing teams are thinned out, the razor can take the ball and score goals.
