Squabbles

Players build individual, interlocking crossword layouts on the table and work independently to form words using letter tiles. Tiles may be rearranged freely at any time to complete or improve words. When a player uses all their tiles they call out and all players draw another tile to add to their grid; drawing a special penalty tile pauses play while the player resolves a revealed event card that can alter scores, swap positions, or affect specific words. Play proceeds until the tile supply is exhausted, then players total tile face values, apply a 10-point bonus for each eight-letter word, and add any event bonuses to determine the final scores.
