Storm Over Normandy

Command the Allied landings in Normandy on June 6, 1944, as American, British, and Canadian forces assault the beaches of Sword, Juno, Gold, Omaha, and Utah alongside airborne operations. Using an area-movement system, players direct battalion- to brigade-sized units and manage the German response across the first week of the battle. Tactical cards add situational effects, while each turn represents one day. A game can be completed in less than three hours.

Juego insertado en una revista y que sorprende por su calidad. El juego es de la serie Storm, una serie de wargames cuyos tableros no funcionan por hexágonos y si por áreas. El juego recrea los 8 primeros días del desembarco y está bastante entretenido, dura 3 horas y hay tensión y decisiones. Dos cosas que no me han gustado: hay muchas unidades que aportan 0 de potencia de fuego, lo cual las hace absurdas y el final del juego no me parece muy bien adaptado, los aliados atizan sin parar a los alemanes y pueden no ganar porque tienen que conseguir 30PV, el caso es que se ve muy artificial.
