Archmage: The Lightning Station

A set of three linked encounters for the 13th Age Roleplaying Game, designed for four to six 5th–6th level characters. A storm station used to gather and bottle lightning has crashed into a mountain with the cloud it rests upon, leaving its cloud giant caretakers and dangerous lightning elementals scattered among the ruins. Gnoll reavers seek to steal its secrets as the characters investigate the wreckage, defend the station, or claim its magic for themselves. Each encounter includes scaled opposition, monster tactics, Icon connections, story ideas, player and GM maps, and illustration handouts.
