Running a restaurant requires buying ingredients, greeting guests, and serving meals while keeping track of time. Players seek to seat as many guests as possible, satisfying wealthy diners with plenty of time while sending impatient customers to opponents. Ingredients are purchased from the market by spending time, and unserved guests cost points at the end of the game. The player who earns the most from satisfied customers gains a star for the restaurant.
