The starting player rolls sets of dice equal to the number of players plus one, then eliminates one set from the selection process. Then starting with the last player in turn order, each player takes a set of dice. Then you do the action phase where the dice are your workers on the central action boards. To place a die in an action spot you need to have the correct die value and color. One action board is entirely filled with either blueprint cards or endgame scoring criteria that need to be claimed by you to qualify for. Another action board is full of effects that give you points, improve your turn order, or claim and arrange the tiles on your player board to try and match the requirements on instantly scoring blueprint cards. When tiles get taken, you are not just choosing where to put them but also what ability they'll have when you flip them over. Then there's the additional challenge of resetting them.
