Electric Bastionland

A grim, sprawling city serves as the setting, divided into competing boroughs with harsh, arbitrary laws and rapid technological change driven by electric experimentation. Players take on the roles of low-status characters who navigate the city's dangers, accept brutal jobs, and pursue personal goals while dealing with crime, corruption, and mutant horrors. Gameplay uses a rules-light, narrative-focused system with character creation, wounding and death mechanics, and resource-driven advancement through risky expeditions, heists, and investigations. Encounters and consequences are driven by player choices and table-driven events rather than heavy bookkeeping.
