Munchkin Fu

Players take on over-the-top martial-arts archetypes—Samurai, Ninja, Yakuza, Monks—and build characters by collecting weapons, treasures, and fighting styles. Gameplay centers on drawing encounter cards, battling mooks and movie-style villains, and using equipment and special abilities to raise character levels. Each turn a player "kicks down the door" to reveal an encounter; combat resolution compares monster levels to the player’s level plus modifiers, while other players may interfere by aiding or adding foes. Defeating enemies yields treasure and levels; losing can trigger penalties that cost levels or items. The first player to reach tenth level wins.
