Prince Charming, Reanimator

A 0th-level Dungeon Crawl Classics funnel set in a dark fairy-tale world. Prince Hubert Charming sends a group of unwilling volunteers into the Grimmswood to explore a ruined castle and recover the long-dead Princess Beauty, whom he believes can be revived by his magic elixir and a kiss. Players enter the castle with makeshift equipment, facing dangerous ruins, dark fey magic, and whatever other evils remain within. Those who return with the sleeping princess may keep the treasures they find, while refusing the quest means facing the prince’s guards and being declared outlaws.
