ReCURRRing

Players compete to win cards in a climbing card game. The deck contains cards numbered 1 through 9 in increasing quantities, along with R cards. A single 1 is the strongest individual card, while pairs beat single cards, with a pair of 2s being the highest pair; R cards are the weakest. On a turn, players either pass for the rest of the round or play one or two cards that rank higher than the previous play, taking the previously played cards into their hand. The number of cards played can increase by at most one. When all other players pass, the last player leads a new round. Once a player has no cards left, players score the cards they collected. After three rounds, the highest score wins.
