Players lead a noble family in a medieval kingdom, seeking power through titles, land, and alliances. Gameplay combines political maneuvering (marriage alliances, granting titles, convening parliament) with economic management (collecting income from cities, mills, and abbeys, taxing fiefs) and military operations (raising knights, sergeants, archers, crossbowmen, and deploying siege engines). Players expand influence by seizing and occupying cities, fighting battles when multiple forces contest a location, and using income to recruit troops, build strongholds, buy titles, or bribe rivals. Victory is determined by victory points from titles and holdings, with game-end conditions based on point thresholds or after a fixed number of rounds.
