Design a 1950s suburban neighborhood by filling in house numbers and choosing actions from shared cards. Each round presents three card combinations showing a house number and a corresponding action; players simultaneously pick one combination, write the number in order on their street sheet, and apply the action to build fences, pools, parks, or hire employees that modify scoring. Actions can alter or duplicate numbers, increase estate values, or advance public objectives. Games play simultaneously and support larger groups, with variable action sets and multiple scoring paths as players race to complete neighborhood goals.

Replaced Qwinto. Talking about overpriced games... I hope it's at least as good as it looks. Update: It's indeed too pricey for what you get in terms of components, but it's clear that a huge amount of thought and care went into developing this game. It's rock solid. Nothing particularly outstanding, but everything just works very well. I ordered some custom dice for a dice variant, which turned out to be pretty good (not better than the cards, but still a nice alternative). + Scoring Pad & Goodies

Can I leave gaps between houses and fill them in later?

Yes. You may leave any number of empty houses between built houses, but numbers in each street must still increase from left to right. (p. 5)

Do I have to use the effect paired with my house number?

No, using the effect is optional. You may perform it only if you successfully place a house number that turn. (p. 5)

What happens if I can’t legally place the number I chose?

You don’t write a house number; instead, cross off the topmost, lowest-numbered Building Permit Refusal space. You also cannot perform the effect that turn. (p. 5)

How do I build a pool?

The chosen combination must have the Pool Manufacturer effect, and you must write its associated number in a house with a planned pool; then cross off the topmost space in your Pools column. Using the number without that effect, or the effect without a planned pool, does not build a pool. (p. 7)

What counts as a completed housing estate?

It is a row of 1–6 neighboring houses with no empty spaces between them, bounded by fences. Only completed estates count for City Plans and estate scoring. (pp. 6, 8)

If someone completes a City Plan before me, can I still score it?

Yes. The first player or players to meet the goal during the same turn score the higher Project-side value; players who complete it later score the lower value. Each player can score each City Plan only once. (p. 8)
