Players work as investigators trying to identify the target, weapon and location of a planned assassination before it occurs. On each turn players draw and play cards to collect clue sets—three matching cards of a single type (Target, Weapon or Location)—and use those sets to eliminate possibilities and infer which specific cards are hidden beneath the box. After a fixed number of sets are collected the round ends and each player records their deductions; correct individual guesses and collected clue sets score points. If the group fails to deduce all three elements together, the investigation fails and all players lose.
