Players take the roles of squires training for knighthood at a medieval academy. Across six turns, they draft cards and play them to advance their discs on tracks representing jousts, tournaments, quests, education, service to the king, charity, and gallantry. At the end of the game, players compare their Chivalry Points from the different training categories. The squire with the most points is knighted by King Arthur. The game includes the base game along with the Gallantry and Magic mini-expansions.
