Héros

Players take the roles of elemental heroes commanding fantasy armies in a fast-paced, real-time duel. Each player summons creatures (dragons, elementals, hydras, gnomes, etc.), plays cards and uses magic dice to cast spells, dispel enemy effects, activate units or learn new incantations. Gameplay emphasizes quick decision-making and pattern recognition: players read dice symbol sets to trigger abilities and resolve actions while managing their creatures to defeat the opposing hero and army.

Fun 1 vs 1 assymetrical game with a real-time system. PROS - The real-time dice chucking feels new and fresh in the genre, making it a different game and allowing it to compete for its place even in a big game collection. - It does have some degree of strategy when selecting the army and the spells you'll be playing. Players who know the cards will have an edge over new players, being able to elaborate better strategies. CONS - The gameplay is shallower than what most other 1 vs 1 assymetrical games offer. - The art, while not bad, is not 100% cohesive and feels pretty generic. - The box is several times bigger than needed. The game can perfectly be repackaged without the boards (not necessary anyway) and the rulebook.
