Impulse: All Your Base

This expansion adds area control to the space-based card game. Players build bases in local areas of space, gaining communal special powers and using layout cards to activate cards of the matching type near their bases. A public layout track shows the changing powers of bases across the board. At least one base is required to score, while additional bases multiply points and increase the victory threshold. Enemy cruisers can destroy bases or capture uncontested ones, disrupting the previous owner's plans.
