La Bataille d'Auerstædt

A historical simulation of the encounter between Davout’s III Corps and the Prussian army under Friedrich Wilhelm III at Auerstädt on October 14, 1806. The game uses a period map covering the battlefield and more than 400 counters representing regimental- and brigade-sized formations. Designed for two players, it can also support solitaire study. The rules model the principal features of Napoleonic warfare, with hexes representing 100 meters, game turns covering 20 minutes, and strength points representing approximately 50–100 men.
