Maximum Apocalypse: Gothic Horrors

Players face supernatural apocalypses as monsters, cultists and eldritch forces spread chaos across the world. Games present three scenario types—Cthulhu-style cosmic horror, classic monsters like vampires and werewolves, and yokai-inspired threats—and introduce new mechanics such as a Night/Day event deck and an Insanity deck that applies phobias and mental effects. Players control survivor characters with bespoke decks and abilities; this expansion adds two new survivors (a priest with protective support options and a ronin who toggles stances for close combat). Scavenging, combat, and managing mental strain drive play as the group tries to complete scenario objectives and endure escalating supernatural dangers.
