Roundhammer 1943

In this alternate-history World War II scenario, the Allied powers launch a cross-Channel invasion of France in September 1943 instead of focusing on Italy. The Atlantic Wall is incomplete and many German formations are still unprepared, but the Allies face limited U.S. forces, weak British reserves, insufficient amphibious capacity, and an active Luftwaffe. Players recreate the planned operations through an expansion that adds 1943-era units in Western Europe, new support counters, and markers representing the Atlantic Wall and invasion beaches. The game explores whether the Allies could have succeeded with an earlier assault on the German war economy.
