Amyitis

Players act as rival Babylonian nobles vying for prestige by contributing to the construction and maintenance of an elaborate garden complex. Each turn offers choices to recruit craftsmen, expand irrigation, acquire plant tiles, move a caravan to trade or court cards, or pass to collect income. Gameplay emphasizes resource management and spatial planning as players build garden terraces, link irrigation networks, hire specialists, and compete for control of temples and palaces that score points. Actions interact directly with opponents through shared market and caravan movement, and the highest prestige at game end determines the winner.

A hodge-podge of mechanics, with an odd theme pasted on. However, it offers enough choices - and I like the camel track - that I find myself wanting to play it again. Yet after a few plays, this feeling vanished. The game was, in a word, boring.
