Cartagena

Players control a crew of six pirates attempting to escape through an underground tunnel to a waiting sloop at the tunnel's end. Movement uses hand management: playing a card with one of six symbols moves a pirate forward to the next matching symbol, jumping over occupied matching spaces. To replenish cards, players move a pirate backward to the nearest space holding one or two pirates and draw one or two cards. Each turn consists of 1–3 actions, which can be forward moves, backward moves, or a mix. Pirates that reach the sloop wait for their crew to finish, and shrinking available pirates changes future options, so players must plan card use and positioning across the race to escape.
