Granada

2009 · City Building

Granada

Players develop a medieval city at the foot of the Sierra Nevada by acquiring two-sided building tiles and arranging them into a personal layout with moats. On a turn, a player buys a tile from the market, takes money, or performs a remodel to place a stored tile; buying for exact cost grants an extra action. Building types have dynamic value: each type’s worth equals the total number of that type in all players’ cities multiplied by a round-dependent factor. Three scoring rounds award points to the top players for each building type, with ties broken by the highest-valued tile. Moats score separately for longest continuous enclosure.
