Pendragon: The Fall of Roman Britain

Players take the roles of competing Romano-British and barbarian factions vying for control of fifth-century Britannia. The game uses an asymmetrical card-driven COIN engine in which each faction has distinct abilities, objectives, and victory conditions that shift as the campaign progresses. Gameplay combines raids, sieges, conventional battles, recruitment of foederati, political maneuvering in towns and provinces, and population movements across a map of the island. Players resolve events from an 83‑card deck, manage fortified strongholds and naval defenses, and respond to evolving epochal events that can alter rules and strategic priorities. Scenarios support solitaire through four-player play.
