Campaign Manager 2008

Players act as campaign managers shaping a presidential bid across twenty contemporary battleground states. Each player builds a 45-card campaign deck but selects a 15-card subset for the game, then uses those cards to influence voters on issues and among two key demographics in each state tile. On a turn a player either plays a card to push an issue, target a constituency, or force negative events (some of which trigger die rolls), or draws up to a five-card hand. Winning a state awards its electoral votes to the candidate; play continues until a manager reaches 270 electoral votes or a tie occurs.
