Set in a post‑apocalyptic America, this hybrid game mixes strategic town management with deckbuilding and role‑playing elements. Players lead distinct survivor factions, develop and defend a town using resources, upgrades and action cards, and compete for prestige or town health as victory metrics. Parties of characters equip gear, explore the map, resolve encounters and missions, and can engage in PvP; outcomes use dice‑based skill checks and card effects. Play proceeds in monthly turns split into phases for effects, town business (production, auctions, hiring), party exploits (movement, encounters, missions) and end‑turn bookkeeping.
