France '40: 2nd Edition

A two-game package covering the May–June 1940 campaign in northwest Europe, offering separate scenarios for the German drive to the Channel and the British withdrawal to Dunkirk. Each scenario uses the same rule set and shared pieces but plays on its own full-size map; an optional combined scenario links the maps for the entire period. Players command division- to battalion-level units over one-day turns on a 4-mile-per-hex map, handling movement, armor and air support, combat, advances after combat, breakthroughs, and morale. Special rules govern historical effects such as armored formations, political and command influences, and unique national units. Components include two maps, counters, rulebook, playbook, player aids, setup cards, and dice.
