Players represent rival national space programs racing to colonize a newly discovered exoplanet in the 1960s-era geopolitical setting. Each player manages a team of specialists, assigns them to shared action spaces, and develops infrastructure, defense, exploration, and commerce to gain prestige. Gameplay unfolds over ten rounds with four distinct phases: a council negotiation that forces nations to respond to events, an auction for supply deliveries and turn order, a worker-placement action phase to perform missions and earn resources, and a resolution phase that produces resources and resets workers. Victory is decided by prestige tracks, exclusive civilization milestones, mission objectives, relics, and remaining resources.
