Monopoly City

A city-building take on the classic property-trading formula. Players buy properties, construct a mix of residential and industrial buildings, and manage their layout as an added layer of strategy. Buildings have different effects: residential units require protective or positive structures to retain value and are vulnerable to negative hazards, while industrial buildings cost more but are protected. An electronic timer-and-event device regulates deal timing and limits how many buildings can be placed each round. Chance cards and new hazards create unpredictable disruptions that affect rent, ownership and building status.
