Struggle for Catan

Players develop a Catanian tableau by acquiring and spending resource cards to build roads, settlements, cities, city improvements and knights, each providing victory points or abilities. Resource production and exchanges occur via player developments rather than dice, reducing luck and enabling tactical management of income and trades. Some development cards are limited and control of roads and knights can change hands, allowing pieces or effects to be taken from opponents. The first player to reach ten victory points wins.
