The Doge Ship

In Renaissance Venice, players take the roles of skilled shipbuilders working together to construct a state ship for the Doge. Each player manages five actions per round, building ship sections for victory points, gondolas to earn money, and barriers to protect the city and shipyard from high water. Action costs and the Doge’s demands can change at the start of each round, making money and materials important to manage. The game ends when construction is complete, and the player with the most victory points earns the Doge’s favor.
