Compile: Main 2

Players take the roles of rival artificial intelligences testing abstract Protocols to achieve understanding. Each player chooses three Protocols and plays cards into those Protocols’ command lines to advance them toward completion. Cards provide actions that progress a player’s own Protocols, hinder an opponent’s, or manipulate the shared state; the first player to fully Compile all three of their Protocols wins. The set adds a dozen new themed Protocols (Chaos, Clarity, Corruption, Courage, Fear, Ice, Luck, Mirror, Peace, Smoke, Time, War) that can be used alone or mixed with other Protocols.
