Darklight: Memento Mori

4人の呪われた英雄が、ダークゴシックな世界でランダム生成されるダンジョンを探索します。グロテスクな怪物と戦い、罠を避け、イベントを解決しながらクエストルームにたどり着き、ミッション目標を達成しましょう。戦闘や探索では、宝物と倒した敵の魂を獲得できます。魂は通貨として使えるほか、キャラクターの寿命を延ばすための資源にもなります。ミッションの合間には、危険な旅の途中で物語に関わる選択をし、居住地を訪れて装備を購入したり、訓練したり、現地のアクティビティに参加したりできます。さらに、今後のゲーム展開に影響する評判も高めていきます。

Completely unbalanced and chaotic. After 3 plays we decided to shut down the campaign and look elsewhere for fun, because this is no fun. In our last play we got 2d6 crawlers and 2d6 seekers(?). Roll dice and got 12 and 11: 23 enemies!! Seriously?? And caught in a narrow passageway. Of course we died and died again and again. We also got instadeath with a guillotine and more death when a spiked ceiling fell and we got no 6s in our dice rolling the 4 times we tried. It was already pointless when we came into what was supposed to be a manor and the first hall we found was a sacrificial site. Laughable, but it was OK. But the monster spawning is simply crazy. Never again.
