Dice Arcana

Play as an apprentice alchemist in a solo narrative puzzle-adventure set in a whimsical fantasy workshop. Each turn the player rolls ingredient dice—mandrake roots, wyvern wishbones, mermaid scales and the like—and assigns results to potion formulas with specific requirements. Ingredients have unique abilities that modify other dice or change a potion’s volatility, so placement and sequencing drive logical deduction and resource management. A chapter-based gamebook advances the story and gradually introduces new ingredients, mechanics and more complex potions while flavor text and events (including mischievous creatures and a grumpy mentor) provide narrative framing.
