Players build a gang by collecting and playing cards representing four different families of mobsters. Cards have values; except for value-0 members, taking a higher-valued gangster normally requires spending two identical lower-value gangsters of the same family. Families grant special abilities that let players obtain higher-value gangsters faster at the cost of committing more cards to their play area, so players balance short-term gains against reducing future options. The game ends when gangs are scored and the player with the highest total value wins.
