Guns & Steel

Players guide a civilization across ages, balancing technological progress with military expansion. Each turn, cards serve multiple roles: some are played face-down as resources, others face-up as developments, and players may purchase new cards from a common supply. Decisions center on whether to invest in civilian infrastructure to boost production, pursue military strength to seize opponents’ holdings, or construct wonders that grant lasting benefits. A unique card-flipping mechanic forces tradeoffs between immediate resources and long-term projects. The game for 2–4 players ends when all wonders are claimed or the final-era cards are bought; victory is determined by the most victory points on collected cards.
