Players run small coastal canning companies in the 1950s, buying batches of fish and jars of tomato or olive oil to produce canned sardines and mackerel and sell them to markets. Each round players secretly bid action points by sliding a disk on their personal action track; the higher the bid (sacrificing actions) the earlier a player selects raw-material lots. Acquired materials are processed in factories, sold to markets for money, and spent to acquire scorecards and expand production capacity. The game lasts six rounds and awards victory points via scorecards at the end; the highest total VP determines the winner.
